Account holders have the ability to wager via the internet. Saratoga Casino Hotel is the third oldest harness track, having opened on June 26, 1941 for the purpose of pari-mutuel wagering on harness racing. Over the years, Saratoga Casino Hotel added daily simulcast coverage of thoroughbred and harness tracks across the country. This has developed into a convenient amenity that many patrons enjoy. On January 28, 2004, the property became the first "racino" in the State of New York to open its doors, welcoming over 10,000 guests. A second phase was added in the spring of 2007. This 45,000 square foot expansion included a chic, two-story night club and a large Vegas-style buffet and brought the gaming floor to 100,000 square feet and the total number of slots to 1,700. In keeping with the theme and practice of growth and expansion, Saratoga Casino Hotel most recently engaged the services of eBet Technologies, Inc. in launching the property's own interactive wagering platform, SaratogaBets. In addition to SaratogaBets, Saratoga Casino Hotel features over 1,700 state-of-the-art video gaming machines, Vapor Night Club, live harness racing, two full-service restaurants with buffets, three full-service bars, food court, deli and a variety of guest services including valet parking and coat check.
